Built-up roofing, also called Tar and Gravel is used commonly on Flat or Low slope roofs. It consists of several layers of perforated felt with gravel or painted top. ISO insulation or fiberglass board can be installed underneath it for additional insulation. It will need maintenance 10-15 years after installation.
